Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Backward Tribes: Minimum Class 6 pass
- Indigenous Naga Tribes: Minimum Class 8 pass (NBSE or any recognized board)
Physical Standards Test (PST)
For Male Candidates
- Height: 5.3 ft / 162 cm (Minimum)
- Chest: 78 cm (Normal), 83 cm (Expanded)
- Weight: Proportionate to height as per medical standards
For Female Candidates
- Height: 5.0 ft / 152 cm (Minimum)
- Chest: 74 cm (Normal), 79 cm (Expanded)
- Weight: Proportionate to height as per medical standards
Medical Fitness Requirements
Candidates will be medically examined for:
- Height, Weight, Chest Measurements
- Eye Sight, Colour Blindness
- Varicose Veins, Flat Foot, Knocked Knees, Squint, and other deformities
Additional Tests:
- Opioid Test & Alcohol Abuse Test – mandatory; candidates testing positive will be disqualified
- Pregnancy Test (Female candidates): Those testing positive will join the next training batch; salary begins from training start date
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Applicants who clear PST and medical tests will undergo PET, which includes:
- Running Race
- Pull-Ups
- Long Jump
- High Jump

- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 38 years

Selection Process
1. Physical/Medical Standards Test
Candidates must present:

2. Physical Efficiency Test (Outdoors)
